Graduate Macintosh Software Release Engineer - £16k to £20k p.a. + Bonus
Graduates with very strong working knowledge of Macintosh OS are required for our Oxfordshire client as a Software Release Engineer. This job is suitable for a graduate with excellent hardware & OS skills -- you`ll be someone who lives and breathes computers and OS`s.
In addition to a good working knowledge of Macintosh, particularly Mac OS X, you will also have experience of working with Macintosh on non-Macintosh networks (ideally Windows). any Windows or Unix*Linux experience would also be desirable, as would experience of scripting to automate procedures.
The main responsibility of the position are building, preparation, and release of software distributions, working closely with the development teams to deliver services to agreed timeframes, using secure procedures for the preparation and clean compilation of release code. Accuracy and an eye for detail are imperative, and you should be a responsible and reliable team player.
